Yes. Aperitivo on Norton Street, Leichhardt is a popular christening venue. We also host baptisms, first communions, birthdays, engagements, corporate events and family celebrations. Our private function room is set up for shared Italian dining, with wood-fired pizza, handmade pasta and antipasti served as shared plates. Send an enquiry with your preferred date, guest numbers and occasion, and our team will tailor a package to suit.

How many guests can your function room hold?

Our function rooms in Leichhardt hold a minimum of 10 guests, up to 300+ guests across all five spaces with whole venue hire. We offer two layouts: seated for sit-down dining, and standing for cocktail-style events. There is no extra charge to reserve a private room. You only need to meet the minimum spend, which varies by day and time. The minimum spend can be met by combining food and drinks. If it is not reached on the day, a room hire fee applies instead.

What is included in a private function package?

Our function packages include shared Italian menus and optional drinks packages, starting from $39 per person. You choose your preferred dishes from each course, and they are served as shared plates for the whole group. Menus showcase seasonal ingredients and serve as a guide, so minor changes may occur. Unlimited drinks packages include only the drinks listed in each package and run for 3 hours from the event start time. All other beverages are charged on consumption. RSA laws apply and are enforced.

How far in advance should we book?

You can book your function at any time. We recommend reserving as early as possible to secure your preferred date. Our function rooms in Leichhardt are reserved on a first-come, first-served basis, and your space is guaranteed once availability is confirmed and a holding deposit is paid.

Do you host corporate events or team dinners?

Yes. Our function rooms in Leichhardt suit corporate gatherings, lunches and dinners. We can host seated dinners or cocktail-style events, and our shared Italian menus work well for groups with mixed dietary preferences. A projector is available for presentations. Send an enquiry with your date, guest numbers and any AV or seating requirements, and our event organiser will tailor a package to suit.

Is there parking nearby for guests?

Yes. Metered street parking is available along Norton Street and the surrounding side streets in Leichhardt. Norton Street parking is free after 7pm, which suits most evening function bookings. For larger events, let your guests know about parking arrangements in advance so they can plan their arrival.

Can we bring our own cake or decorations?

Yes, you can bring your own cake. A cakeage fee of $3 per person applies. You are also welcome to bring decorations such as banners, balloons, table centrepieces and signage. BYO food and beverages beyond the cake are not permitted. All other food and drinks must be ordered from our function menus.

What is the deposit and cancellation policy?

A $300 holding deposit is required to confirm your booking. Bookings are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis, and your space is guaranteed once availability is confirmed and the deposit is paid. Changes to final guest numbers must be made at least 24 hours before the function. If numbers drop after that point, you will be charged for the food portion of the missing guests. Cancellations with less than 48 hours notice forfeit the holding deposit in full.

Can I view the venue before booking?

Yes. Venue walkthroughs are by appointment only, so our team can walk you through the space, layout options and package menus. To arrange a viewing, send an enquiry with your preferred day and time and our team will confirm a suitable appointment for you and anyone else helping plan the event.
